Hi Everyone, It's been quite a long time Amberyin Flower Tea did not update recipe for food. So, this time we will bring in Roselle tea. Roselle is very unique in colour and also flavor. It is sour and of course for those who love sour, this is the tea. Normally people would use this tea in sea food dishes but I would like to do it differently. So, below is the pictures and steps to prepare.
1 no. Japanese Cucumber
15 no. Dried Roselle
500ml Water
T.T. Sugar
T.T. Salt
1 no. Lemon
-Slice Japanese Cucumber using peeler or Mandoline slicer.
-Place the Roselle into the water and bring it to boil for 20 mins.
-Add in sugar. Strain it to a bowl.
-Place the sliced cucumber into the mixture for 5 mins, strain it out. ( Do not soak in the mixture for too long to prevent the cucumber overcook and too soft)
- Place some of the mixture into a pot, add in lemon juice.
-Simmer and reduce it. Add in salt. Ready.
